19-year-old Chloe Donovan first became involved in social action aged 12. Since then, Chloe was the UK Youth Parliament member for South Norfolk for four years, representing the views of young people within the district and county council. In this role she campaigned on a wide range of from access to higher education to votes at 16. Chloe is now a Young Facilitator for the National Council for Voluntary Youth Services where she has undertaken numerous roles and projects. She is also the only young person to sit on the Canal & River Trust’s Council, and Chairs their Youth Engagement Advisory Group.
Speaking about her new appointment Chloe said: "I’m so proud that I have the opportunity to contribute to the impact of such a pioneering and important movement, i hope that I can effectively advocate the opinions of other young people on the issues that are important to them and have fun to!"
